FESTIVAL TERRAQUÉ

Camilla Hoitenga at the Terraqué Festival
September 2, 2026 · 7:00 PM
Chapelle de la Congrégation · Carnac, France
Camilla Hoitenga joins the 10th edition of the Terraqué Festival in Carnac, France, performing flute and piccolo with the Festival Orchestra under the direction of Clément Mao-Takacs.
The evening’s programme, Pour faire le portrait d’un oiseau, brings together music by Kaija Saariaho, Ilse Weber, Alban Berg, Erwin Schulhoff, Gustav Mahler, and Clément Mao-Takacs. The programme explores contrasting musical worlds, from Saariaho’s evocative Pour faire le portrait d’un oiseau, Dolce Tormento and Terrestre, to Mahler’s Wunderhorn Lieder, Schulhoff’s Bassnachtigall, and the premiere of Mao-Takacs’ …da lontano….
Presented in the intimate setting of the Chapelle de la Congrégation, the concert forms part of Terraqué’s 2026 festival programme, which celebrates classical music through both celebrated repertoire and rarely performed works.
